	Fri 25th Feb	Flight arrived at 12:30. Settled into the Hotel Kette, then initial sortie and shopping for postcards, books and calendars. Dinner in the Ristorante Alla Borsa ( too expensive ! ). A bit dull for photos today, so some of these pictures were taken on Saturday !	Dull	2
	Sat 26th Feb	Wandered around the city for the day. Pizza for lunch, and a cafe latte on our return to the hotel in the evening.- An enchanting city, even though the weather was overcast again.	Overcast	5
	Sun 27th Feb	Spent the morning around St Marks Square, and the three-island boat trip in the afternoon, visiting Murano, Torcello and Burano, returning early evening.- Burano was best.	Sunny	6
	Mon 28th Feb	Early morning visit to St Marks Basilica to avoid the crowds. Went to see the view from the top of the Campanile ( this is the film that went missing ). Coffee and croissants at Cafe Quadri on St. Marks square. Took the vaporetto along the Grand Canal to the station and walked back in the evening. Evening photos on St Mark's quay. - A long, but superb day.	Sunny	7
	Tue 29th Feb	Walked all along the waterfront, returning for more coffee in the Cafe Quadri, and staying around St. Marks for the afternoon and evening.	Overcast	2
	Wed 1st Mar	Early drizzle turned to rain by the time we had visited the Peggy Guggenheim museum of modern art, so we made up for it with a nice dinner in the evening. No photos today.	Rain	1
	Thu 2nd Mar	Around St Marks again, with coffee in Cafe al Todaro on St Mark's Quay, and then took the Alilaguna waterbus to the airport for our 6pm flight home, arriving at Heathrow at 7 pm.	Sunny	2
